Kristina Smith

Hi there!

My name’s Kristina Smith.

It’s great to meet you 🙂

My Skills

Copywriting

Throughout my time working at 434 Marketing, I produced and posted web and social content for over 8 local Lynchburg businesses. From banks to healthcare organizations and even the city’s tourism office itself, I’m experienced in a variety of fields.

From short-form content to longer pieces, I’m able to ensure your content receives the attention it deserves.

SEO

Need help getting your business seen on Google? I have over two years of experience in technical SEO using both Semrush and SurferSEO.

I can help you drive more organic traffic to your website using a highly effective, data-driven approach.

Newspaper Management

I spent all 4 years at Liberty working for the Liberty Champion. As Editor-in-Chief, I oversaw content planning and editing while managing a staff of over 15 student reporters. I also ensured that our publication met strict production and printing deadlines.

As Web and Social Media Manager, I oversaw our website as well as all social channels (Instagram, X, Facebook).

Organic content

Over the last five years, I’ve overseen social media content for over 10 organizations. From content planning to design and data analysis, I’m experienced in leveraging social platforms to help your business grow.

Administrative procedures

In every position I’ve held, I’ve helped out with administrative procedures including office organization, document management, and workflow organization. I have over four years of experience in using Asana to boost team productivity.

Insurance

After graduating from Liberty, I studied for over 80 hours and obtained both a Virginia Property and Casualty Insurance Producer License and Virginia Life and Health Insurance Producer License. I have experience working for a local insurance agent, where I helped individuals understand their policies and make the right choices for their goals.

A Little More About Me

Outside of my professional positions, I spend most of my time outdoors with friends and family. I grew up riding horses in the hunter/jumper show world, and I still enjoy riding recreationally. The equestrian world has taught me patience, responsibility, and accountability—qualities I make a priority to emulate in both my personal and professional life. In the past year, I’ve also picked up fishing as an occasional hobby, which has proven to be both a challenge and a joy.
